- Very quick and easy craving fix
- Substitute any nut butters for a slightly different flavour
- Makes 3/4 cup mix (rolls into app. 6 balls)
1 1/2 tablespoons food grade cocoa butter (some health food stores sell it or you can order it online)
1 tablespoon cashew butter or macadamia butter
2 teaspoons coconut oil
2 Medjool dates, pitted
1/2 cup almond meal
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 tablespoon flaked almonds
-Melt the cacao butter and coconut oil together in the microwave
-Put melted cacao butter, coconut oil, dates and nut butter in the food processor and blitz until smooth
-Transfer to small mixing bowl and mix in almond meal and salt then stir in flaked almonds
-Roll into balls and refrigerate for at least ten minutes
